GRAMBLING PARTNERS WITH SISTER INSTITUTIONS
The Board of Supervisors for the University of 亚洲自慰视频 approved partnerships听among its member institutions in north听Louisiana. Grambling State University is partnering听with Louisiana Tech University and the University of Louisiana Monroe听to create additional opportunities for students at the System鈥檚 only HBCU.听听
Through an MOU, Grambling鈥檚 management students will have permission to enroll in online risk management and insurance courses through 亚洲自慰视频M. A second MOU will promote a clear path to graduate studies for Grambling’s accounting students by offering accelerated entry to LA Tech鈥檚 Master of Accountancy program.听
鈥The partnerships听approved today听are a great example of innovation among the Universities of Louisiana and highlight our institutions鈥 commitment听to create听streamlined听educational听pathways,鈥 亚洲自慰视频 System President and CEO Dr. Jim Henderson said. 鈥淭hese institutions recognized a听chance听to听improve student success听through cooperation, and听the result is听greater听access and opportunities听for out students.鈥听
ROMERO COMPLETES DUTIES AS CHAIR

Today marked听outgoing Board chair Mark Romero鈥檚 final meeting in the Board鈥檚 executive role. Romero served as Board chair for two years. His steadfast leadership through his term, especially through the challenges of 2020, was acknowledged with much appreciation by System President Jim Henderson and fellow Board members. Romero served as Board chair from 2019-2020 and vice chair from 2017-2018.听
鈥淚n the last four years, I鈥檝e had the opportunity to witness and participate in an extraordinary movement,鈥 Romero said. 鈥 The work that we鈥檝e done has truly impacted our System鈥攐ur students, faculty and staff. I know this progress will continue under our next chair鈥檚 leadership.鈥听
Chair Romero听will be succeeded by James Carter听with听Elizabeth Pierre as听vice chair.听Carter appointed Dr. Jimmy Clarke as parliamentarian.听The new leaders will be sworn in at听a meeting scheduled for听January听7. 听
SYSTEM TAPS CONTENT EXPERTS TO ASSIST FAC亚洲自慰视频TY AND STAFF
At today鈥檚 Board meeting,听the University of Louisiana听System announced the establishment of a network of content experts to support faculty and staff in听growth and professional development.听听Experts will lead in five content areas: mental health, online teaching and learning, grant writing and research, information technology, and financial aid.听
鈥淧art of the power of听our听System is听the ability to leverage the collective听resources among our nine member institutions to help听us听maximize听growth and听achievement,鈥 Dr. Jim Henderson听said. 鈥There is a tremendous breadth of talent听at our universities, and this听 program will ease our ability to share best practices听and听provide professional development in听the听five content areas.鈥听
The five experts will identify听System faculty and staff with shared expertise and听publish听pertinent听resources听while serving听as a points听of contact on their content听for faculty and staff.听

Southeastern Louisiana University: approval to transfer the Leasehold interest in the Alumni Center from the Southeastern Louisiana University Alumni Association, Inc. to Southeastern Louisiana University and the Board.
Southeastern Louisiana University: approval to enter into a Ground Lease with the Southeastern Louisiana University Foundation to renovate the Alumni Center on Southeastern鈥檚 campus, as authorized by La. R.S. 17:3361.
University of Louisiana at Lafayette: approval amend its 5-Year Capital Outlay submission to include the project to build the Kathleen Babineaux Blanco Public Policy Center inside of the Edith Garland Dupre Library.
University of New Orleans鈥 request for approval to sell the Goldring Hall to the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Inc. on terms and conditions acceptable to the Board and for a sale price no less than the appraised value.
